Newbie Quick Start

This is where it all begins. The Diablo CrossFit “Newbie Quick Start” package is three one hour personal training sessions combined with one whole month of unlimited group class instruction. The purpose of the ‘one on one’ personal training sessions is to introduce the CrossFit method of training as well as the fundamental movements that we most often use in our workouts. You will get a chance to learn at your own pace and ability so that you aren’t overwhelmed in your first group classes. This class also enables us to evaluate your level of fitness, address any existing injuries, determine where you might need the most work - in addition to discovering your goals and reasons for joining us. If you are already happen to be familiar with CrossFit, this class will be used to hone your form, help you achieve your goals, and set new personal records through direct coaching. After you have completed the one hour personal training sessions, you will have the basics to get you started in going to the Fundamentals classes.

CrossFit Fundamentals

This class will help teach you the basic movements that are at the center of the CrossFit program. This class is a prerequisite to our Diablo CrossFit Elite Fitness Classes. The Fundamentals classes are small groups of 3-5 people. This is to ensure that everyone gets enough personal attention when learning a movement. Some of the exercises or functional movements that you will learn in this include: body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, air-squats, jump rope and sit-ups; and barbell and dumbbell movements like dead-lifts, overhead squats, presses, and more. You’ll also have fun learning to use our Concept II rowers, kettlebells, gymnast rings and tractor tires. We will properly evaluate your athletic and physical fitness level and then scale each exercise and workout to your abilities. No one is ever too out of shape or in too good of shape for this class!

Diablo CrossFit Elite Fitness Class

Once you have completed at least six Fundamentals classes or, if you can demonstrate to us proper form and good technique of CrossFit's foundational movements at personal training sessions, you may join the DCF Elite Fitness class. These groups will typically be larger (6-10 people) and focus on intensity as well as proper execution of movement. Elite Fitness classes include instruction on more complex movements like the Olympic Lifts (cleans, power cleans, snatch, clean & jerk).


Diablo CrossFit Olympic Lifting

This class focuses on the Olympic Lifts: The Clean & Jerk and The Snatch. You must have attended at least 3 personal training sessions or 5 fundamentals classes in order to attend. We begin with an active warm up focusing on drills that enforce correct lifting technique. We'll then teach some of the fine points of the Olympic Lifts, focusing on one and sometimes two movements. We finish the class with several sets of heavy lifts or higher repetition lighter lifts. This is a fantastic class for improving your abilities in many of the CrossFit Olympic style exercises.


Diablo CrossFit Personal Training CrossFit Certified Personal Trainers

CrossFit is not your 'average' fitness program by means. We believe that being physically "Fit" has just as much to do with skill as it does with 'working out hard'. Personal training sessions are designed to teach you a vast array of fitness/life skills and help you master your physical realm. The one on one coaching is designed to provide direct results based upon your personal fitness level at a pace that you set. Form will be corrected, weaknesses addressed, personal records set, strengths enhanced, progress made. Diet and wellness consultation included. The personal training sessions will make sure that you get the most out of your CrossFit workouts and keep you 'dialed in' for peak performance. Muay Thai @ The SHED

Muay Thai @ The SHED is for Mixed Martial Arts fighters looking to sharpen their skills & improve their power and fitness. Its also a fantastic workout for anyone wanting to improve their fitness while learning devastating self-protection skills.

Our Muay Thai class are instruction-intensive with lots of impact drills for improving technique and power (no sparring). Since Muay Thai fighter use the hands, shins, elbows and knees as major points of contact, this martial art is often referred to as "The Science of Eight Limbs." Our highly trained instructors will impart their knowledge to you in an exhausting workout. A separate fee is required for participation. Please see our fee schedule.
